2023年8月，有飞机反映在3号船型整流罩前端余水口中有异物 ,接近检查发现为一块符合材料片，如下图所示，具体的尺寸如下：71.48mm×40.50mm×0.34mm。
经查询，应该为整流罩前点的防磨垫片，件号BACS40V016E028
按件号规则，相关尺寸如下。
波音表示，根据间隙来判定安装必要性。
Measure the gap distance between the Ref /D/ Frame and Ref /C/ Bond Assy:
a. If the gap is greater than 0.045-inch, refer to Ref /B/ Fwd Fairing Assy Drawing Sheet 1 Zone B11 Flagnote 3 for shimming instructions.
b. If the gap is less than 0.045-inch, no shimming is required.
c. Ensure Ref /B/ Fwd Fairing Assy, Ref /C/ Bond Assy, and Ref /D/ Frame drawing requirements are met.
